About Me

My photo
The Philosopher
My blog is a humorous (well sometimes not humorous) and honest (always honest even if it's raw) look at life’s journey & what I have learned so far, from being married, getting divorced, raising children, accepting & embracing myself & my imperfections and, the latest, dealing with colon cancer & chemo. How I deal with life’s interesting twists & turns and still manage to laugh (some days). It is my journey. It is what I would tell you if you were my teenage babysitter and I had just come home from a night out drinking and was compelled to share with you what you should know that no one else will tell you. My philosophy is that life should be lived fully no matter what the circumstances – we can spend a lot of time wishing it were different, or we can celebrate it, all of it.
